Traditional Technique
Hair Stroke Brows
More and more people are wanting natural-looking, permanent, hair stroke eyebrows that only the art of Microblading can achieve.
Microblading is a technique used to create the most realistic looking brows using fine ‘hair strokes’ to mimic the look of real brows.
Instead of traditional cosmetic tattoo treatments which uses a machine, Microblading uses a handheld tool to meticulously create fine hair strokes one by one.
The pigment is then implanted into the channels created by the tool and the result is realistic looking semi-permanent hair stroke eyebrows.

What Are Designer Brows
Designer / Shaded Brows
Traditional Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup technique that creates realistic looking ‘hair strokes to mimic the look of real brows.
Where some people absolutely love this look, there are others who would perhaps prefer a powdered brow look or maybe a stronger, more defined brow instead.
With the introduction to our 'Designer Brows', we can now offer a style to suit you.
The techniques used to create each individual look still uses a specialised handheld tool to create a shaded effect as well as individual hair strokes.
The pigment is implanted into the skin, resulting in instant, realistic looking, semi-permanent brows.
Consultation
The first part of the process is a consultation. This is normally done as part of your initial treatment, but it can also be done separately if you would prefer to chat everything through beforehand.
During your consultation, we will discuss the look you are trying to achieve and what I might recommend for you. This is very much a two-way conversation. I will listen and I will help advise.
Once we have an idea of the look you are aiming for, I will start the design process by drawing on the brow shape with a makeup pencil and makeup powder if required. These can be drawn on and adjusted 50 times if necessary! I will NEVER begin the tattoo process until you are completely happy with the design.
Treatment
Using a state of the art microblading hand tool, tiny precision hair strokes or a powdered brow effect will be created by hand.
If you don’t have any or much brow hair, a natural-looking brow will be designed for you. Pigments are implanted into the dermal layer of the skin. The sensation is similar to a little scratch but you should not feel any discomfort. To help ease any discomfort, numbing cream will be applied to the brow area before and during your treatment.
The treatment itself generally takes around 1 hour to complete and will leave you with instant, highly defined ultra-realistic looking brows.
As with any permanent makeup treatment, the brow area can initially look 40-50% darker than the colour you have chosen in consultation, this will fade over the healing process to reveal your chosen colour.
Retouch
A retouch appointment is usually needed 6-12 weeks after your first treatment to add more pigment to the brow area.
This is recommended because, as the brow area is healing, some parts may not ‘hold’ the pigment as well as others and you may have a few patches that need more colour.
This is completely normal and everyone heals differently. Whatever the case, you are always advised to come back for your retouch.
Restore The Appearance Of Hair Loss
Alopecia
Filling in your eyebrows every day can be tedious and laborious... and when you have no brows at all, it can be even harder to position them correctly.
Fortunately for you, Hannah specialises in Alopecia and Hair Loss. With her extensive brow training and brow experience, she can re-create realistic looking brows that will restore symmetry to your face and give you back the confidence you most probably lost with your brows.
Semi-permanent eyebrow tattoos generally last between 12-18 months, and with just an annual colour boost, they are very low maintenance. Microblading can offer an alternative solution that creates the illusion of brow hair; something that can make a huge difference to the everyday life of someone suffering from Alopecia or hair loss.

Can Men's Brows Be Microbladed?
Men’s Brows
It's not only women who lose their brows.... men do too!.... And if you have lost your brows, then I am sure you may feel just as self conscious as anyone else who has lost their brows.
Whether your brows are just naturally sparse OR have disappeared due to a hair loss condition such as Alopecia, then microblading can be a great solution to help create the illusion of realistic looking brows.
Unlike female brows (which are often created with a more structured, defined shape), male brows are often more rugged, messy and untamed (that's not to say that you can't have a more defined shape if you wanted one).
Depending on the look you desire, a natural-looking set of 'manly' brows can be created to suit you and your specific requirements.
